Bianca Jagger:
The first to mention is our icon by excellence Bianca Jagger. Bianca secured her spot in the 70s fashion hall of fame as one of Yves Saint Laurent's chief supporters and muses, famously wearing his designs for her 1971 wedding to Rolling Stone Mick, not to mention popularizing Le Smoking tux later in the decade. Jagger's glam look ranged from sleek menswear suiting to disco fashion fit for dancing the night away in Studio 54 (iconic NYC nightclub in the 70’s). She was one of Andy Warhol’s best friends.
Most iconic moments: Her wedding to Mick Jagger and when she appeared for her birthday in Studio 54 riding a horse.
Anita Pallenberg
Muse for the Rolling Stones and wife of Keith Richards. She embraced the boho style dresses of the 70s.
Farrah Fawcett
Who better embodies the 70s obsession with blow-dried hair and high-waisted flares than original Charlie's Angel, Farrah Fawcett? She’s the one!
Charlotte Rampling
British actress Charlotte Rampling was something of a sex symbol in the 70s thanks to her laidback attitude combined with a wardrobe of masculine tailored suits, shearling coats and d plenty of hats, not to mention the omnipresent cigarette in her hand.
Blondie
The indisputable queen of the New York punk scene was Debbie Harry, AKA Blondie, whose penchant for contrasting the pretty with the tough - think 1940s-style dresses with backcombed hair and leather jackets - saw her becoming one of the most copied style icons of the decade.
